  • About

For more than 30 years, the Friends of Lake Sonoma, a non-profit organization, has supported the educational and visitor service programs conducted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Sonoma. The largest fresh-water recreational site in Sonoma County, located 10 minutes from Healdsburg, Lake Sonoma offers myriad sporting opportunities, from fishing and boating to mountain bike and equestrian trails. Seasonal deer and pig archery hunting is a big draw, and there's even a Frisbee golf course! Camping and picnicking facilities are available. Lake Sonoma is also the home of the Congressman Don Clausen Fish Hatchery and the Milt Brandt Visitors Center.

  • Directions

Dry Creek Road west from Highway 101 leads directly to Lake Sonoma. An alternate route from Highway 101 is Canyon Road west to Dry Creek Road. Turn right.
