Since today is Valentine’s Day we wanted to take you to some place romantic, beautiful and maybe do a little wine tasting. This week we are exploring a great part of wine country in Northern California, one of our favorite towns, Healdsburg.
Healdsburg looks like one of those towns you see in a Hallmark movie, with all the charm and friendly locals.
These days, many places in the world are all about farm-to-table. What I discovered is that Healdsburg really lives out the farm-to-table, and even vine-to-glass, wherever you go in the area. Whether wine tasting at one of their organic wineries, or eat at one of their many locally sourced award-winning restaurants, you can taste and feel the difference.
Today we are going to talk with a couple of locals that are taking locally sourced to another level. Chef/Farmer Jack Herron of Eat it, Grow it, Make it, and Andrew Hock, Director of Operations and part owner of DaVero Farms & Winery.
