After many years, Bobby Watson returns to play Healdsburg - this time as a leader of the Bobby Watson Quartet. He’ll reunite with Edward Simon (piano) and Essiet Essie (bass), both members of his highly acclaimed band “Horizon.” Joining them will be special guest, drummer Akira Tana. Two shows over two days – don’t miss a chance to hear these stellar musicians!

For more than four decades, multi-GRAMMY®-nominated saxophonist, composer, arranger, and educator Bobby Watson has contributed consistently intelligent, sensitive and well-thought-out music to the modern-day jazz lexicon. Considered one of the top alto saxophonists in the world, he is known for his extraordinary ability to play swing, hard bop, and contemporary jazz.
