Name: Canon Book Group: Man's Search for Meaning
Date: December 14, 2022
Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM PST
Event Description:

Join the Joe Mesics' Literary Canon book group in December to learn about "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl.

Ed Castellini and Jake Aharonian, two English faculty at Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC), will share insights into "Man’s Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl. SRJC chose the book a “Work of Literary Merit.” Ed and Jake, dedicated, gifted teachers, explore both how Frankl heroically turned his horrific Auschwitz experience into a life-affirming but unflinching way of making sense of the world, and how young people in Sonoma County found significance and value in Frankl’s rigorous but uplifting way of making sense of a seemingly absurd universe.

Our full discussion of Frankl's book will be Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 6pm.  At this December meeting we will have a special slide lecture and panel discussion.
