Job Description

This position is responsible for processing travel reservations including data entry into the Tourplan reservation system. The position works directly with the Program Coordinators to enter new bookings accurately and timely and processes client correspondence. The position also will cross train with and support the Database Maintenance Coordinator position and assists with general office tasks as required.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform reservation data entry.
Create bookings and enter service lines in Tourplan reservation system to create full itineraries.
Provide overall reservation administrative support to prepare mailings, documentation, filing, photocopying, scanning, and recordkeeping.
Produce travel documents including itineraries and vendor vouchers.
Assist in vendor price changes and pricing updates.
Perform timely fulfillment of catalogs, brochures and other promotional materials.
May run office errands, mail and banking -- must have current CA DL/vehicle.
Perform general office duties in a small office environment.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Associates degree required, bachelor's preferred
Or two years of experience in order entry or data entry

Skills/Experience Required:

Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite to include expertise with Excel and Word.
Skilled with database operation.
Superior keyboarding skills.
Ability to handle repetitive tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with high degree of accuracy.
Interest in travel, geography and logistics a must.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines.
Ability to work with large amounts of data while maintaining accuracy.
Critical thinking skills with ability to analyze, problem solve and make decisions independently.
