Job Description:The Office Manager reports directly to the President and supports Vice President, Operations Manager, and Survey Manager. The Office Manager has the knowledge and ability to perform all necessary basic accounting and human resources functions as requested by any of the management staff. The Office Manager is detail oriented, solution focused and effective at creating and implementing policies and procedures to increase office efficiency.The Office Manager oversees the front desk administrator.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Office Manager position is an integral and important part of our team.

1. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the following accounting functions:

o Accounts payable/receivable

o Cash receipts

o Check Runs

o Collections

o Invoicing

o Payroll

o BillQuick and Quickbooks data entry

o Project Initiation and contract execution

2. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

3. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

4. Assist with scheduling interviews and posting available jobs

5. Employee onboarding, benefits administration, etc

6. Employee offboarding, completing termination paperwork

7. Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health

8. Other tasks as required

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Business Administration, Accounting or an equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university and accounting/human resources experience of at least 3 years.

Proven knowledge of general office management procedures

Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases, QuickBooks a must.

Good time management, multitasking, organizational, and decision-making abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
