Zero-Emission  Mobile Agricultural Equipment Demonstration Program

Up to $1 Million Available – Applications due by 4/15/2020
 
The Air District is offering up to $1 million for projects that demonstrate mobile, zero-emission equipment in Bay Area agricultural operations and achieve significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, criteria pollutants, and toxic emissions.
 
The Air District is accepting applications for projects that demonstrate zero-emission mobile equipment greater than or equal to 25 horsepower. Eligible applicants are private sector parties, California-based public entities, and California-based non-profit organizations. Applications will be evaluated and scored competitively and are due to the Air District by 3 PM on April 15, 2020. Funding is provided by the Funding Agricultural Reduction Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Program which is part of California Climate Investments, a statewide program that puts billions of Cap-and-Trade dollars to work reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening the economy, and improving public health and the environment – particularly in disadvantaged communities.
