Tamarind is Celebrating 10 Years Strong!

Reflecting on 10 years of Tamarind, we are proud to have helped shape the fashion culture of
Sonoma County. Established in 2013 in Sebastopol Tamarind’s journey through many
challenges began including the Barlow flood and Healdsburg fires, and the pandemic we have
stayed strong and passionate about bringing innovative fashion to the North Bay. We strive to
keep providing both established and unique independent designers as well as beautiful
products both local and global. Nestled into our new home as of four years, located in a prime
spot downtown Healdsburg, Tamarind has been thrilled to bring in a fresh assortment of
designers reflecting customer demands as well as each one of our small team’s buying
perspectives.
“We each have completely different body types and lifestyles which makes our assortment
more diverse and interesting,” quotes founding owner Andrea Kenner. Tamarind has
customer-centric values and always offers fashion brands worth investing in whether it’s a
timeless piece or a style that holds resale value. With the ever-changing fashion industry, many
brands are finally catching up to what we have always stood for, in our method of selecting
designers. We support many female-owned and operated brands; also, many brands have now
incorporated fully sustainable fabric, dyes, and packaging. Some Brands have even launched
recycling programs to sell back their styles. Tamarind is more committed than ever to our
customers and appreciates your support throughout the years.
