Partners and Investors Behind SingleThread Farm-Restaurant-Inn, Set the Stage for New Hospitality Experiences in Healdsburg.
Recognized for developing and operating world-renowned hospitality properties rooted in sustainable agriculture, authentic service, and award-winning design, Vertice Hospitality Management in Healdsburg, CA, is setting the stage for growth with the acquisition of two prime sites in downtown Healdsburg. Design and ideation for both properties will start this summer, and the new developments are anticipated to open in 2025 and 2026. Vertice Hospitality is co-owned by Real Estate Developer and CEO Tony Greenberg, Chief Culinary Officer Kyle Connaughton, and Chief Agricultural Officer Katina Connaughton, the partners responsible for the successful launch of the three Michelin-starred SingleThread Restaurant in 2016.
415 Center Street
Vertice has signed a 25-year lease to redevelop the Raven Cinema, a 15,000 square feet property located adjacent to SingleThread that closed during the early days of the pandemic. In addition to alleviating constraints at SingleThread’s current property, the adaptive reuse project will accommodate multiple new hospitality concepts that will be led by SingleThread’s next generation of hospitality and culinary leaders.
"415 Center Street was built in 1956 and was owned and managed by the same family for three generations. It became The Raven Film Center in 1996 and was the go-to destination for families eager to catch the latest films. We are excited that almost three years after dimming its lights, new life will be breathed into this Healdsburg landmark. We are looking forward to passing the baton to Kyle, Katina, and Tony as they revive and transform the space into a hospitality venue for the community," states property owner Mary Kellman.
150 North Street
Vertice has also purchased 150 North Street in Healdsburg. Structured as a sale-leaseback, the current tenant plans to remain in place until their lease expires in 2024. Situated directly across the street from SingleThread, Vertice plans to collaborate with Dialog, an award-winning architectural firm specializing in net zero architecture to repurpose the property for future mixed-use.
Greenberg notes, “Healdsburg has been our home for nearly 10 years and our team has planted very deep roots here. These acquisitions will allow us to both realize more of our original vision for SingleThread and allow us to offer complimentary hospitality experiences across the entire value spectrum. We are building for the long term and ensuring that we take on the responsibility to build spaces not just for ourselves, but also from the perspective of our community and for the next generation of SingleThread’s leaders.”
