Time:
7:30 AM - 2:00 PM PDT
Event Description:
Hello Growers, Partners, and our extended Wine Community,
We are very excited to invite you to join us at our Annual Grower BBQ, Seminar and Trade Show on July 14th. Our theme for this event is Driving Forward: Economics, Electrification, Employees. Our programming will focus on the continued innovation and resiliency of our farmers in these always changing times. This is a must attend morning, trade show and lunch!
We are pleased to be joined by Dr. Christopher Thornberg, Global Economist and Founding Partner at Beacon Economics, who will be our keynote speaker. You may have heard him present at the State of the County events put on by the Economic Development Board and Board of Supervisors. He has been to Sonoma County on several occasions. Dr. Thornberg is an expert on economic and revenue forecasting, regional economics, economic policy, labor and real estate markets, and the agriculture and retail space. He will share his expertise on the current climate of today's economics. This should be an interesting conversation given the current marketplace. And he loves wine!
In addition, during the morning seminars, our Ford Pro and our Ford Pro Pilot Farmers will take the stage to discuss the innovative collaboration and discuss how more grape growers can get involved. There will be a marketing and business update for both the Sonoma County Winegrowers and Sonoma County Grape Growers Foundation, followed by the presentation of the Nick Frey Community Contribution Award and the Viticulture Award of Excellence.
After the seminar, join us for our popular trade show and lunch which will feature the first ever graduation ceremony for The Sonoma County Grape Growers Foundation's inaugural Leadership Academy Class. More details on programming and registration can be seen below.
We hope to see you there!
